September 11, 2025 / Activity on Whiteboard

Today we have a new release with some whiteboard view improvements (mostly).

Activity on Whiteboard + Undo

Now you can see who edited the board while you were away, keep track of all new changes, and easily restore anything important that was modified or deleted.

How to track new updates

The activity panel shows all changes made to the whiteboard elements, grouped by date and by users. Clicking a record on the list, you will be automatically redirected to the corresponding object on the board and zoom in to view the change in detail. When you open a board that was edited while you were away, new changes will be highlighted with a blue indicator.

How to restore items

Open the Activity panel and find the record of a deleted object. Click it, and you’ll be taken to where the object was, with a preview showing options to restore or copy it to the clipboard for pasting anywhere on the whiteboard.

Whiteboard bent connectors update

Bent connectors are now easier to work with. They have rounded corners for a cleaner look, avoid overlapping objects, and snap into place for precise alignment. Adjusting and moving connectors is smoother, and extra connector segments are automatically simplified.

Sync integration Field as relation

Sometimes the data you bring from another tool is already present in Fibery. In this case, you can now turn the synced column into a Fibery relation:

Previously, this was only possible with an extra auto-linking relation.

Coming next: map some column into a People Field.

The values are currently always matched by Name. If you’d like matching by other Field, let us know.

:butterfly: Improvements

  • MCP Server: MCP works in ChatGPT Plus and Pro now (web only). However, you need to enable development mode in ChatGPT to setup and use it.
  • HubSpot and Intercom integrations: Phone Fields are formatted as such by default.
  • Public Spaces: Sharing previews for public spaces is improved, now it it includes an image with dynamic text + space icon on a branded background.
  • AI Agent: links to created spaces, fields, rules, views and entities improved. They are more stable and open content in the main panel always

:shrimp: Fixed Bugs

  • Board View: cards headers are no longer truncated
  • Whiteboard:
    • Copy pasting two shapes with links incorrectly copies links attachment points
    • Text on line doesn’t appear in proper place after copy or page refresh
    • Fix the mark (bold, strikethrough, italic) application for multiple text blocks
  • Permissions:
    • Cannot share integration Database using ≥Editor template from User’s Manage Access page
    • +Share entity button is present on my own “Manage access” page
  • AI Agent (Build mode):
    • Create Rule via AI: Quite basic filter does not work for Rule builder
    • Some errors fixed related to spaces, databases and fields creation
  • Email Integration: Type.update permissions started to be required on setting personal integration
  • Rich Text: Emoji and embed media commands do not open popup in text editor
  • Entity View: Relation field filter popup does not open on click from relation view item

Awesome improvement on MCP for ChatGPT, however some trouble around here:

Same problem using EU server

We had this problem yesterday, but not today. Can you try to start new fresh chat?

The same message remains in the conector configuration screen, and in a new chat the Fibery option is grey’d out:

I don’t see the Developer Mode option, might that be it? I am on ChatGPT Teams/Business

The whiteboard activity log + update looks great and will make some people in our team very happy.
The new connector seems like a nice QoL improvement

OpenAI states here that this mode is accessibly only to Pro and Plus plans (my guess due to security concerns): https://platform.openai.com/docs/guides/developer-mode

That probably explains it. Tough luck.

I have ChatGPT Plus, but see the same problem.

Developer mode in ChatGPT settings enabled successfully, but:

Actions

This MCP server can’t be used by ChatGPT to search information because it doesn’t implement our specification: search action not found

I would love to have a Public Space with authentication so we can build an internal Wiki without sharing it with the world.

Edit :

The idea behind is to allow all employees without a Fibery license to get internal information. It means that everyone will have an Observer license but we will be limited by the fact we need to share every entity.

Are you saying that it is too time-consuming to share every entity, or that you don’t want to share every entity?
Why wouldn’t you have a dedicated space for the Wiki, and share it (the space) with everyone (including Observers)? No-one will see anything outside that space unless they have access otherwise.

Sorry, I’m not able to understand what you mean.

I didn’t know it was possible, thanks for the tip ! I thought that Observer’s only had access to entities that are directly shared with them and not a whole Space.

You can’t share a whole space with a Guest, but you can share Spaces, Databases or Entities with Observers.
See here:

Sorry, by “whole Space” I mean Spaces (and not the Workspace).

Thanks for your insights !

It shows up in the MCP/Connector config screen

However it does appear that the Fibery functions work. I was able to ask a basic search question (find me the earliest dated entity in this database) and it returned a correct result with no errors. I am on ChatGPT Plus FWIW.
