🐟 March 26, 2026 / Reorder and Indent Blocks on mobile, Wide mode for Entity view

Several assorted small updates today out of the blue.

:nazar_amulet: Mobile: Reorder and Indent Blocks

Reorder blocks directly in the mobile editor. When your cursor is inside a block, or you tap to focus, one or two new Move Up and Move Down actions appear in the editor’s floating toolbar. Tapping either moves the focused block one position up or down.

  • Only the currently focused block can be moved.
  • For lists, nested items move together with their parent block, consistent with desktop editor behavior.

List Indentation. When the cursor is inside a list, two additional actions Indent and Unindent appear in the floating toolbar, mirroring the Tab / Shift+Tab behavior from the desktop editor. These let you adjust the nesting level of a list item without a keyboard.

:blueberries: Wide mode for Entity view

Entity views now support a Wide / Regular page width toggle (like in Document view). On larger screens you can switch to Wide mode to use more horizontal space. This setting is applied per user per device per database.

We also removed full screen button that was available in every rich text field. It was confusing, so now we recommend to use Wide mode if you want to see more text.

:necktie: Session Management controls

Two new controls are available for Enterprise workspaces:

Maximum session duration. Controls how long users stay signed in before they need to authenticate again. The default is 90 days, but you can shorten it down to even 8 hours. When the limit is reached, users are signed out and prompted to re-authenticate.

Idle session timeout. Automatically sign out users who haven’t been active for a while. The default is no expiry, but you can set it as low as 30 minutes.

Both settings are configured from Settings → Security → Session and apply workspace-wide to all members.

:butterfly: Improvements

  • Rich text: Underline text icon added to the commands menu (Cmd + U shortcut also works).
  • Fibery MCP Server: Fibery MCP Server will work in any MCP client now, including ChatGPT.

:trolleybus: Fixed Bugs

    • Missing focus in ‘search for emoji’ field when emoji is selected from ‘/’ menu

    • Embed block doesn’t fit column width

Excited for wide-view mode! I’m glad I caught the note about fullscreen, as I used to use this as a sort of presentation mode for client proposals.

Solid batch of bug fixes you guys!

Not sure if it’s just my workspace but search is down since the updates rolled out: method "search-keyword" not found

Amazing!!! But:

I find this weird. The “Expand relation views” is set for all users, but wide entity view is set per user. I would much rather this be an architect decision, and be per entity view. Just like the architect defines if its single column or dual column per view, I think the architect should also decides if its full width or not full width.

I believe this is the same in Notion, but I didn’t check. If someone knows for sure, do let me know.

Keep it coming!

I see no option to filter out i.e. exclude anything. All of them are filter for/in i.e. include.

In fact, it would be wonderful to be able to filter out things, including all the internal enum DBs per this feature request I just created .

I would agree as well.

When we’re on the subject, I feel like the same should go for the “Single Panel Mode” in the settings.

Obviously there would be default behavior that Fibery needs to set for all newly created workspaces, but an architect should be able to update the default (and retroactively apply it) globally for all users instead of Fibery forcing everyone to individually customize their account.

I wish this could be kept as an option, for those of us that want to have a focused, uncluttered and unrestricted view of things like a “document”.

If anything, you’ve created more potential confusion and frustration by introducing a new inconsistency (some views being allowed to be full screen and some not) when there is already so many other inconsistencies that exist in Fibery that need to be addressed!
