Help with hierarchical relations and "quasi conditional dropdowns"

Hi, I was reading a community post answered by Chr1sG, but I can’t for the life of me find it now.

It had to do with using Fibery’s hierarchical relations to emulate a conditional drop down.

I would like to consolidate a few things (apparently I historically used Fibery like a maniac), in this case specifically Tags/Sub Tags so you pick a Tag from a dropdown and the Sub Tags are conditional to it. In Chris’ response he said you can’t do this exactly but you can get something close where the top suggestions in the Sub Tag dropdown show first. This is perfectly fine with me, but how!??!

I really only have like 0-4 Sub Tags per Tag. Can someone explain to me how I set this up?

Sounds like relation filters will do the trick for you.

Relation filters was the best new for me this year coming from Fibery :smiley:
