Right now I only see the option to “Plan for Today.”
Would love to be able to drag entities to a specific day in the calendar just like in Asana.

No specific plans for the Calendar improvement so far, telling the truth - but noted for the future 
what an amazing feature to see unplanned items in calendar view. LOVE IT!
is there any way of interacting with it though? in calendar clicking on calendar shows me entities but i can not click on it to open them nor can i drag them out of there.
as this was something posted two years ago i am wondering what happened in the meantime.
EDIT: Oh i missed, that there is a right click menu on this … as this is something that is not very common in fibery i had no idea.
SO: Plan for today is nice - but it would be even better if there is a “Plan for today - 1h” or something so it would be a better thing to plan meetings. right now if plan for today is activated it becomes a day long event and its not as easy as hoped to just drag it out there to make it a shorter entity

This works in Timeline View already by the way. So partially solved 
Calendar view’s backlog lacks features implemented in timeline view’s backlog. Namely filtering, reordering, and drag-n-drop. It’d be helpful to have the same in calendar.
I’m actually hoping Fibery will some day implement drag and drop of entities between views. So you could create a board or list and filter your entities however you want and then drag them from there and onto the calendar. I think the backlog is a more constrained version of a list. No need for it to be built-in to the calendar or timeline, IMO

i just tried to drag and drop backlog items in the calendar on week view - only to find out that this feature does not yet exist.

Would More Flexible Date FIeld need to be implemented before this could be completed?
I think the title and tags on this feature request should be updated. The drag-and-drop functionality works in the timeline view, but it’s missing in the calendar view. My workaround right now is using the timeline for drag-and-drop and the calendar for review, but switching between the two feels inefficient.
