I’d like to suggest a feature: letting workspace admins define default notification settings that apply automatically to new users.
This may not be a very common use case 
, but here’s ours. The standard Slack notifications (from Fibery Bot) don’t fit our workflow well, since we want control over what gets sent and how it’s formatted. So we built a custom Slack bot on n8n that delivers only the notifications we actually need, and we don’t use the native Fibery bot at all 
.
The problem is that the default notifications are still on, so even the smallest change to a card triggers a message in Slack. I know each user can adjust or disable their notifications individually, but that means walking every new teammate through where these settings are and how to change them, and it’s easy to miss someone.
Being able to set workspace-wide defaults (or at least turn Slack notifications off by default for new members) would solve this neatly.
