Unable to successfully add a new date to the calendar

When I try to add a meeting date to my calendar, I can’t find the confirmation place and I can’t add it smoothly even by pressing enter.
Thanks~

If you’ve set up the calendar view to show entities from an integration database, then the db is read only, so you won’t be able to add new entities.

Does that mean I can only use the other status to add new items? Link list or Timeline

It doesn’t matter what view you use, if a database is read-only (which integration databases are) you will not be able to add new entities

I say this because when I use list I can successfully add items
but the calendar view still can’t add new entities like you said, other view is successfully to add

I use a database to add a calendar view and associate it with all personnel. As long as the personnel are in their own internal pages, they can add a date list

Which database(s) are included in the calendar view?
And are they integration dbs or ‘native’?

I created three databases
1.Projects
2. Personnel list
3. Meeting schedule

The above operations are performed on the personnel internal page
I use the personnel list to relate the meeting schedule and project items, and the meeting schedule also relates the project items. It is mainly used to select the project corresponding to the meeting date (because personnel may participate in multiple projects at the same time), and finally enter from one of the personnel Go to the content page to add a new meeting item, and use filtering to display only participating projects.

Maybe it would help to share your workspace map, for clarity. And then screen shots of the calendar view configuration (e.g. Items menu)

Here is my spaces template
When I want to set up the calendar through a single person, the calendar cannot successfully add items, but using the list can add items normally.
Is there perhaps another way to allow a single person to use their own calendar independently without adding a new database calendar?

Thanks for sharing your workspace.
It seems that there is a bug in calendar view related to entities which use a different field for Start and End date, sorry.
Is there a reason why you aren’t using a single date range field?

Because my personal list is shared with individual personnel, they can see their own work projects and meeting times in it.
So I hope that a single person can add multiple dates.

I meant, why do you have two fields:

when you could have a single field:

You are right! As long as you remove the other fields, you can use it normally.
The main reason is to control the entire meeting schedule, but if there is no end, it doesn’t actually affect it.
Thank you for your help.

There are other situations where, for example, when a person needs to take a long leave, they will need to fill in multiple days at once. The current situation will result in the need to add new ones day by day.
