An ‘app store’ is an interesting idea that has come up previously, so it’s interesting to see it popping up again.
I think there are a couple of things to think about when it comes to template sharing in Fibery:
- there can be a risk that quality suffers with a free-for-all app store. I noticed that the odoo marketplace has over 33000 apps available (although, it is unlikely that a Fibery marketplace would be overwhelmed with contributions to begin with!) and as has been said elsewhere…

Fibery can be complex, and some of the best things it can do are not necessarily easy to grasp without help. Hence the interest in growing the partner program - so there is always someone to ‘hold your hand’ while you’re getting started

there are of course some interesting technical challenges that might need solving, e.g.
– there would probably need to be a mechanism to limit peer-to-peer sharing of templates that were paid-for, otherwise the originator might become frustrated at lost revenue
– if an originator would like to be able to charge a recurring fee, there needs to be a way for a space in one person’s workspace to be managed/updated/disabled (by Fibery or by someone else outside that workspace)
