Initial feedback on Search in relation views (and I think it applies to regular views too, I we just rarely use them):
- I wish it would also search the names of any entities that are displayed on the view, including related/referenced entities.
For example, here we have a client entity called “Human_Code” that is displayed within the view normally, but when I search for “human”, nothing gets found.
- Since the search is essentially a type of filter, I feels like it should remain visible on the screen when a search query is active, even when the user’s mouse/cursor isn’t still in the search box. Since there’s no “error” or “no results” message that is displayed, users could be confused as to why nothing is being displayed and not realize or remember a search filter is active.
