Notifications by slack and email - how should it work?

I enabled email and slack activity notifications seemingly successfully.

The slack integration does indeed work, and changes to tasks appear in the channel I selected.

But as for notifications, I don’t see anything anywhere. What should happen, when, and to where in Slack?

You should receive personal Slack notifications when:

  1. Someone mentions you using @ symbol.
  2. You are assigned to any entity.
  3. Someone commented on an entity you are assigned to.

I assigned myself to entities and made state changes, but nothing is coming to email or slack…

Your own actions are not worth notification :wink:
