Notification to a specific user doesn't work

Hi guys, we created a notification to a specific user on a field change. We see the change in the activity of the automation rule but 0 notifications. Is that a bug or did we do that in a wrong way?


Activity

If the triggering change was caused by the user who is to be notified, you will only get a notification if you tick ‘Notify author of modifications’
