Small release with bunch of improvements today.

:movie_camera: Video on Whiteboards

You can now upload and play videos directly on the Whiteboard.

  • Upload videos just like images using Upload Media, or simply drag and drop them onto the board. You can upload multiple files at once, including a mix of images and videos in a single upload.
  • Click a video to move or resize it. Double-click to play it with full playback controls.
  • View-only users can now watch videos too.
  • New toolbar actions let you download the original file, open it in a new tab, hide the media, or add a description.

:butterfly: Improvements

  • MCP Server: MCP Server now knows your permissions and access, so it will not try to do stupid things you can’t do anyway
  • Whiteboard: Light and Dark themes work way better in Whiteboard View now
  • Permissions:
    • You can now audit who has access to a certain User by holding Option/Alt key in their context menu
    • Now you can see who and when allowed non-Admins to manage users in Activity Log
  • Inbox. Now you can filter notifications by dates
  • Comments: Now you can attach files and insert images faster in comments via a new action in the toolbar
  • Fibery AI: Fibery AI uses Sonnet 5 now

:shrimp: Fixed Bugs

  • Notifications: Notifications about deleted comments still appear in inbox
  • UI: Multiple clicks on Search in the left menu work as Back button. Should stay on opened search and that’s it
  • MCP Server: Unable to read files if not multiple are allowed for File field
  • Automations: Pass entities context in [ai-agent] tag in automations
  • Documents / Rich Text: Entity view is crushed with error “No cell with offset found”
  • Whiteboard:
    • Save as image should use export in high res
    • Pasting into embedded whiteboard or embedded table causes weird text to appear in the parent document
    • Relation links do not returns back to previous position on ctrl-z for card they linked to
    • Print selection and copy to clipboard has artefacts on the image and crashes on large selections
  • Integrations: (Intercom, Make) uploaded image, video and pdf files has no previews
  • User Management:
    • Trusted email domain get unselected from User manager dropdown when change User visibility setting
    • It’s impossible to select trusted email domain in User manager dropdown if “Everyone with trusted domain” visibility is selected
    • User DB should be hidden in the Quick add

Our teams have really been looking forward to the ability to add videos to the whiteboard and kept asking for it! :shaking_face:
(So they could switch over from Figma and keep all tasks connected.) :+1:

Whiteboards are becoming really, really useful.

Having videos directly on whiteboards is amazing, such a game changer for our workflows.

The visual tweaks in both dark and light modes look great too. Nice work! :heart_eyes:
