I’ve been using Fibery plugin in ChatGPT for a few weeks to plan and brainstorm and having it update a whiteboard has been great but it suddenly reports it’s no longer able. Is this a me issue, a ChatGPT issue or a Fibery issue?
Hi! Unfortunately, this is a combination of how Fibery implements whiteboard and automations tools with how OpenAI reviews MCPs now. They have blocked our whiteboard and automations tools with comment, that “these tools allow to discover dynamic actions, which is against OpenAI’s Plugins policy”. We are planning to re-work these tools in near future, however, for now, any other MCP Client (e.g., Claude) should have these tools available. Very sorry for inconvenience ![]()
No worries, appreciate the quick response. Switched to documents and probably a better format for what I’m doing anyway!
Also started blocking document edits now. One went through then it just stopped.
I’ve just signed up for the trial, the reason I discovered Fibery was that in chatting to my AI about the Linear free plan, I was approaching the 250 issues limit.
In the past, I’ve trialled Heptabase, and I come from MS Onenote so I’m interested in infinite whiteboards in general. Hope you can resolve this MCP issue. And now I’m not just playing around at home, I’ve been recruited to be AI Ops lead for a tech company with 10 users.
