[DONE] Table views: Shift-click to select a range of rows

Shift-click a row selection checkbox to select all rows between this one and the previously selected row.

(Since I can’t edit my original post, here’s the new version of this request:)
––––

It is frustratingly time-consuming to select a range of rows in a Table view - the only way is by clicking the row checkboxes, one-by-one.

Please add keyboard shortcuts for manipulating the row checkboxes, to more easily select ranges of rows –
After clicking on a row checkbox:

  1. Shift-click another row checkbox - grow selection from previously-focused row
  2. Shift-Home - grow selection to first row
  3. Shift-End - grow selection to last row
  4. Shift-Up, Shift-Down - grow selection by one row
  5. Shift-PageUp, Shift-PageDown - grow selection by a page worth of rows
  6. DELETE key - delete selected rows

Please also add the following keyboard shortcuts for Cell selection:

  1. Shift-Home - grow selection to first column
  2. Shift-End - grow selection to last column
  3. Shift-PageUp, Shift-PageDown - grow selection by a page worth of rows

If we could convert a cell-range selection into a row-range selection (row checkboxes), that would also be useful.

Definitely like it!
Many thanks for an awesome description and all the details - noted everything :sparkling_heart:

Currently, our Table View is still very so-so, so once we would focus on it - all the things you’ve mentioned will be considered!

Shift click is a basic feature of everything from excel to notion, surprised it’s not added yet
