It would be great to see the activity log as a part of an entity or as a smart folder view (similar to how threads can be graduated to a view).
Reasoning:
When managing a project, task, or team, the activity log lets you filter and find specific types of changes in entity databases. This can be helpful info for collaboration, not just for auditing.
Uses:
See changes across all entities in a subscriptions database
See changes to all tasks linked to a project
See recent users added and removed by IT
When we can finally create dashboards in an entity, we would also be able to place the entity’s activity in the view by default.
I wanted to suggest a feature to be able to sort or search in Activity Logs for specific types of activity - such as when the state of an entity is changed, see only the comments, and
is excellent too!
So I will just piggyback on this excellent request by @helloitse, who as myself has been in Fibery for years, and my need is around longer-standing, active, entities that would be really useful to see certain types of activity. I asked AI today to tell me when a multi-year entity’s status was changed by reading the comments/references and it couldn’t find it.
Would add a vote but I’m out and the other items where my votes are have greater importance to me, sorry!
