Whiteboard - comment status differentiator

Hi guys,
Would love to be able to:

  1. Mark comment status as ‘done’ on the whiteboard just like in the tread view.
  2. Differentiate between comments that are marked done vs not ‘active’ on the whiteboard.

The ‘Done’ status is actually a property of the inbox notification (and is a personal characteristic).
i.e. if I mention two people in a Comment, they will both get a notification, and one of them might mark it as Done, and the other might not do anything.

The Comment that triggered the notification does not itself have a ‘Done’ status property, so there would be some technical complexity in reflecting the status of your personal notification for a Comment on a whiteboard.

But of course, the use case makes sense, so we ought to think about ways to do it.

If a comment could be treated as an ‘issue’ (task?) then they could be assigned a status and ticked off as ‘done’, regardless of how long the conversation was or who commented or contributed. Just like a normal task?

But this reminds me again that you guys deal with huge complexity and a simple request like this is not necessarily simple in the Fibery dev team’s world.

Thank you.

For comments, we’ll add a Mark as Resolved status and a separate tab in the panel, similar to what we have in documents.

That would be awesome! Thank you, @alex

While you’re at it, would you consider the ‘greying out’ of previous resolved comments on the whiteboard to make it immediately evident what still needs resolution?
