When creating multiple entities in filtered view, only the first inherits filters

I am creating multiple tasks in the tasks database per the method explained here: In list view, allow bulk creation of new entities when pasting tabular data - #5 by Chr1sG
I have a table view, filtered to tasks linked to a specific marketing campaign.
I pasted a list from excel of task titles. However, only the first task remained in the view.
The other tasks were created (confirmed by checking a table with no filters) however the others were not linked to the marketing campaign.
