Linking entities through automation allows formulas and referencing earlier steps. It appears, this isn’t possible for unlinking. Am I wrong about this or is there a reason this isn’t possible?
I have just now become frustrated to discover the same thing, thus far unsuccessful in uncovering a workaround via scripting from the community’s older posts (because lord knows I can’t script myself!).

Since there is no updates on this, I’ll submit this to the ideas topic so that it can be tracked/discussed for future implementation.
