In an Entity View, it would be useful to have a button for each collection to open the Quick Search box but scoped to search only the entities within that collection.
Use case: My Project type includes a collection of “Meeting Notes” entities, and I want to easily search all of my Meeting Notes entities, but only the ones related to this Project (i.e., those in this particular Collection).
The general need is for more flexible ways to limit/scope a Search.
I.e., In any View, it should be possible to easily search only the entities appearing in that view.
Perhaps there could be a checkbox on the Quick Search dialog for “Limit search to current View/Collection”?
did anything change about this? it would be great to be able to just search within “tasks” when viewing “Tasks List” for example - just a “filter”, but easily accessible.
I might be wrong but search doesn’t seem to support “meta-data”, i.e. content in .txt files or even content fibery markdown/document “files” or fibery descriptions are unfortunately not yet searchable.
I would love to see this feature! When I was using Notion it had both the global search and also being able to search from the current database/view.
I know Fibery has the global search but I think having the view specific search helps stay in context “I am in this project to update the site and I want to find a specific task”
