Users want to know that the data they are looking at is current.
Since reports cache (auto-refresh on interval may be too slow), there should be a way to ensure all reports are up-to-date with the most recent state of data.
It doesn’t have to be real-time refresh, just recent enough.
The suggestion: A 🔄️ Refresh All button in the dashboard ... menu (or next to it in the top bar) that appears when there are 1+ reports embedded within the dashboard would save a lot of energy.
Alternative: Have a “refresh on entry” trigger (may be costly with a lot of users).
