"My Work" Dashboard / Assigned Entity Aggregation?

Many of our users are requesting a simple “My Work” dashboard that shows the things they need to complete today, the things they need to complete before the end of the week and the things that they should have completed already, but might be overdue.

When we used ClickUp, it was the “Home” page that has cards that made it very easy to get a quick summary for a user, without the user needing to actually create anything themselves.

Is the “Inbox” supposed to be the equivalent feature in Fibery? I find it confusing since it seems to be primarily for notifications and not task management.

I guess I’m just looking for confirmation that I’m not missing a hidden per-user “Home” dashboard somewhere before I go ahead and create custom ones. Was hoping to avoid having to tell users to have to manually add a view to their “My Space” menu that should likely be a universal, pre-built feature in Fibery that is easily accessible from the global navigation.

Each user’s entity view will show relation fields for the item types that they are linked to (e.g. Tasks, Meetings, Projects, etc.).
This means that entity view can actually work as a user’s dashboard.
If necessary, you could create additional relation views with specific filters, e.g. Due Date < Today or State = In Progress to narrow down to a subset of the linked entities.

Alternatively, you could use a smart folder of users (there is one set up in the People space by default) and add views, displaying whatever entities are interesting/relevant. These views are context-filtered by default, and if you use mirroring, you can have the same view(s) appear for all users.

Note: smart folders can be turned into ‘smart sections’ which live outside the regular spaces.

I’ve created a little dashboard for our folks which contains a summary of their task board and some KPI numbers.
Sadly I cannot show the inbox there, but overall I think making a custom view is quite handy.

Love this  it’s a big missing feature that both Notion and Clickup are offering. Would be so awesome if we can have this in Fibery

Great, thanks for the heads up!
