data enrichment for CRM would be amazing! The full benefit of that requires a two-way integration with the CRM though imho. I know two-way integrations has been a long-running discussion, so just mentioning it here in this specific feature context.
Why? We just want to bring enriched data into Fibery and use Fibery as CRM
I guess baked into my thought process was an assumption that some other CRM like Hubspot would remain my main CRM source of truth. There are of course already data enrichment tools for existing CRMs, but I was envisioning a world where I could use Fibery to do the enrichment, since those other enrichment services usually are very pricey for what you get. So that’s what I was personally excited about.
But yea, if the goal is for Fibery to be the CRM itself, then two-way sync isn’t important. However, from my perspective, the main advantage that existing CRM software will likely continue to have over Fibery as a CRM is the number of integrations with other software. I have Hubspot hooked up to a bazillion other products, and that is something I wouldn’t give up. So for me, and likely others that 1. already use CRM software and 2. have a bunch of CRM integrations/workflows with other software set up, Fibery would have to replicate that level of integration. Seems like a huge lift that wouldn’t be worth it for you guys.
How are Fibery users generally using CRM software today (if you all have any data on that)?
I agree with this 100% percent. Hubspot’s our CRM and that’s not changing. Would be nearly impossible and a waste of time for Fibery to try and replicate all those features. How we can leverage Hubspot data in Fibery, and then push updated/new data from Fibery back into Hubspot is our challenge at the moment. Zapier is what we’re using now, but in the future unless a 2-way sync is created, we’ll have to build a custom integration or something.
I hear you, but I’m also wondering how this is fundamentally different than 2 entities side by side (Split View). Or AI assistant on the right side of a Fibery document? You must scroll down each column separately.
In many cases search is in popover, and it makes it very different. Two panels in a popover will be an overhead
