February 26, 2026 / Batch drag & drop cards on Board, List and Timeline Views, Entity history for a specific field

Several quality of life improvements in today’s release.

Batch drag & drop on Board, List, and Timeline Views

Select several cards and move them all at once across Board, List, and Timeline Views. It saves time (for humans) a bit. Here is how it works on Board View.

And here is how batch drag & drop works on Timeline View:

Changes history of a specific field

You can now filter the Activity tab by a single field to see its full change history. Want to know when and how the State of a feature changed? Open Activity, pick State field, and get the full timeline.

Warm theme

We announced it on Monday already, but just in case you missed, Fibery has a new Warm theme now. Go to Settings → Preferences → Appearance to try it out:

:butterfly: Improvements

  • Security: Support SSO for OAuth authentication flow added.
  • GitLab integration: Issue milestone is synced now.
  • Notifications: Now Architects can unsubscribe from notifications related to failed automations rules and integrations.
  • Filters: Quick filters got some love. Now they show avatars and colors of selected fields.

:cross_mark: Downtime

We had ~47 mins downtime on Tuesday. We nailed the root cause of the problem (at least we hope so) and published the postmortem. We are extremely sorry for this event :person_bowing:.

:shrimp: Fixed Bugs

  • AI Agent: Fixed several bugs to improve AI stability and quality
  • File Field: Fixed a nasty bug when recently uploaded files marked as private, with no access
  • Formulas: Duplicate text no longer inserted in formula editor when select field with space in auto-complete
  • Activity: unpleasant text “jumps” fixed
  • Stability: Fibery no longer crashes when quickly navigating db page → db access templates page → db page
  • HubSpot: Next activity date property is synced now
  • Desktop: Fixed the very weird gradient and scroll in lists
  • Website: Finally fixed

 perfect!

This is fantastic!!
I used the AI’s history inspector to look see where people were spending most time in Fibery. Moving task deadline was apparently 3 hours a day according to AI. So this will be huge there.

I will just say that I find its a bit finicky. The fact that only the one you drag is the one that gets elevated, and even weirder when dragging and dropping vertically. I feel like they should bunch together in some way, or move as a single unit… but im not sure exactly how. This is what i mean is a bit weird:

It technically works, but something about feels a bit off. Super happy this is released though, don’t get me wrong!!

I looked through this again today, and noticed this:

fantastic hahah

Wonderful, thanks !

What’s the next plans to improve quick filters ?

Currently it is still very limited based on what we want to do.

Not much left for us to be honest. Here is the potential list

  • option to on or off them by default
  • allow users to pin personal filters

no other plans

Batch drag & drop

filter the Activity tab by a single field

Some nice improvements as usual!

I like the new website as well. I think it explains what you do and how you do it much better. I was showing people Fibery recently and basically said ‘just trust me’, but now I can point to your website for a quick demonstration.

There’s some improvements I hope we can see in further :

  • Filter multi-modes : 1 pinned filter, many backend filters. A pinned filter can act as different filters. Every time we click on the pinned filter, the active filter change to the next.

An alternative solution would be to have a drop-down menu on the pinned button so we can choose which filter we want to activate inside his filter group.

  • Independent filters : currently, every filters are linked together. If the second filter have OR as logical condition, all others will have the same logic. Sometimes, I need to create the logical myself.

That’s where comes the Filter Logic (Example from Salesforce) :

QOL is so underrated

I like it from design perspective but can’t use it, its not enough contrast for my ageing eyes

:fire: :fire: :fire: Good things come to those who wait.

I like it.

Although some if the emoji are too big and not aligned in its container, they end up being different size to the standard icons. Maybe its only this one “tick” icon I haven’t tested others.

We reproduced this in Safari. Do you use Safari?

Ah good question.

It’s Desktop app for my Mac Mini only.

I also now tried it on my Macbook in both desktop app and Chrome and its perfectly aligned. I haven’t been able to track down a difference between the 2 devices for OS version or something else. And I restarted the desktop app on both but still weird alignment for the desktop app on Mac Mini only.

Loved all the improvements! :sparkles:

I have one small piece of feedback related to the rebranding and how it shows up in public documents.

With the new branding, the “Try Fibery” button in public docs has become more prominent and colorful. In this specific context, I’d consider using a more subtle color (like gray or something closer to black), so it doesn’t compete too much with the actual content we’re sharing with people.
