Entity View Collection-relation menu takes up too much space

In entity views, the new collection views are great, but the (hidden until hovered) menu for the sub-view takes up a a lot of space:

I would much prefer if those menus would “pop up” when hovered, so they do not need to reserve so much space, which is then not usable to display the name of the relation field.

The “view selector” could also be hidden until hovered - it could become part of the larger menu which is invisible until hovered.

Not sure what you want to put inside this empty space? We still have to show Collection name and consume this line.

See in the image I posted above – in a narrow window, the Field name (“All Meeting…”) is cut off and not fully visible. This is the problem.
