Edits on documents don't show on log unless it's title

We have a doc-based workflow (ie no databases, no structured information, only a graph of docs pointing to each other – shared brain.

I would love to look at the log and see what has changed in a space. Unfortunately, docs edits don’t show in the log.

Is there any way to achieve this?

Yes – the ability to see differences between any version and the previous version, and any version and the current version would be super useful, to figure out which version you want to restore after a bunch of changes have been made.

Each rich text field or standalone document has its own version history, which does show changes between versions, but it is correct that these are stored separately from the main activity log.
