Not sure if this is a bug or intended the be correct.
If I selected a currency for example (kr), shouldn’t the ticker in the Unit Price be kr?
Not sure what you mean by ‘the ticker in the Unit Price’.
Do you mean the icon in the column heading?
This icon is always a $ no matter the currency, but maybe another icon (coins? banknotes?) would be preferable
yes that one. If we select the “Yen” currency, i think it should properly reflect the Yen ticker. And issue is for our accounting, if we are dealing with multicurrency entries, it is confusing if which field is in dollars and in yen.
Icons can be an added work for the dev team. And we think that since you have already the currency values from the money dropdown, better to use those tickers in the heading columns.
It would actually be some technical work to make the column symbol depend on the choice of currency (rather than the choice of field type as it is now).
Also, the currency tickers take up noticeably more space than a simple icon.
Anyway, the design team can make the call 
In the mean time, why not change the field name to Unit Price (NOK) ?
