Create a view for workflow states

Is there a hack/workaround (using the API probably) to create a table or board view for those nice secret entities used for workflow state ?
I tend to create additional fields on these states and I’d need an easier way to edit the values.

There isn’t I’m afraid. Select field options can currently only be alt-click opened and displayed as entity view.

I think I’ve found a slightly more efficient workaround : use a board view with the state as columns
