Can't organize smart views

I am using a number of mirrored views within smart folders (love them), however, i’ve run into a problem.

As each project has progressed, i’ve added more and more smart-views that get mirrored, as they continue to be useful. However, now that I have a lot of them, they require organization. Unfortunately, I only seem to be able to put them into (mirrored) folders in the individual entity/smart folder in which they were created. But with many of these entities, it is not possible to remember where different views are originated, and many of them were originated in different entities each.

As a result, I am ultimately unable to organize the smart views. Is this intended?

I’m not sure I understand. Folders in smart folders can be mirrored, just like views, so if you have created mirrored views and want to organise them into folders, create the folders you want, ensure these folders are mirrored, and then drag and drop the (mirrored) views into them as needed. It shouldn’t matter which entity you originally created the views in.

So it appears the problem was that the mirrored smart views had (a year or so ago) been put inside a single non-mirrored dumb folder.

Unfortunately, when i went and removed them from the non-mirrored dumb folder, the views all disappeared from everywhere.

I cannot seem to figure out how to undo it either; I will now be recreating them

EDIT TO ADD:
If you’re wondering why the title for this video (and the audio) is very strange, it’s because i had a war in the middle east documentary on in the background.
