Cannot remove views from folders that are inside smart folders

Have some big frustrations with trying to setup and edit mirrored objects within a smart folder.

When the “Remove from Smart Folder” item in the context menu is clicked on a folder or a view within that folder, it just seems to completely disappear.

Is the folder deleted? If so, why does the menu item say “Remove” instead of “Delete”? If it’s not deleted…where did it go and how can I access it again?

Same behavior happens with individual views inside of folders, but they can at least still be found again if you do a global search. They become virtually useless now though, because you can only add new views within folders and aren’t allowed to link to existing views.

And these orphan views all have a breadcrumb that seems to indicate they’re stored/related to a space and database and entity, but when you click on said space, or database or entity, the view is nowhere to be found. Where do these views actually live within Fibery? Is there a way to see a big list of all views and clean them up and/or add them to the primary sidebar as needed?

Is this all intended behavior or a bunch of bugs? I’ve become so confused about what a view is and how I should be using them.

They remain as ‘existing views’

Thanks for this, I didn’t even know that existed!

That said, it there’s some very buggy behavior still happening for me on this.

I click “Remove From Smart Folder” on a view and it doesn’t actually seem to remove it from the smart folder now. After opening the context menu again though, the option to “Remove from Smart Folder” no longer shows up though. So now what do I do? Am I stuck with it there forever?

Video showing the behavior:

And could you confirm there’s no way to move a view from a smart folder to a different smart folder? I would just need to delete the existing one and recreate it from scratch?

Here’s a screenshot of the “Remove from Smart Folder” menu item showing up for views in a folder that’s inside of a smart folder, but when you click on that menu item, it doesn’t remove the view from the folder.

So that’s clearly a bug. Ideally it would hide them under an “Existing Views” option within the Folder so the behavior is consistent.

If that’s not the intended behavior, how else can you remove a view from a folder inside of a smart folder since I’m not seeing “Remove from Folder”, “Move to other Folder” or “Delete” options?
