Hi, I’m setting up my first Smart Folder with the “Users” level, and am encountering confusion. If I tap the + button beside a User, I’m able to create a view (I think you call this a Context View), and this is intuitive when creating a new View. However, where are “Existing Views” coming from? I have 5 items available inside of Existing Views–4 of them are Views and 1 is a Document. Is it possible I created them long ago, and they are still appearing here, even though I also deleted them long ago? Oddly, I can also find these “Existing Views” using the global search (and the search result suggests they are located in Default Space > Users > MyUser). I cannot see a way to navigate to the Default Space to manage the list of associated Views and Documents like I can for all my other Spaces. For a conventional Space, I can easily add/edit/delete Views that live there, but I can’t seem to find a similar functionality for the Default Space, so I have no idea how to add/edit/delete this list of so-called Existing Views.
My operating theory is that these are ‘old’ views that were never purged by Fibery even though I manually deleted them, but that would be a surprising bug, so maybe I’m just missing something.
Any help?
Its not clear what you are trying to say, images will help alot … and maybe its a bug
Sure, see the screenshot here. These views seem to exist and are also searchable, but I can’t find where they “live” and have no known way of deleting them.

Here’s one of them in the global search results, which suggests it should live somewhere in the Default space. If views can be created and saved in (and deleted from) this Default space, I would love to learn how /where because I can’t find them.
i think now the case is much clearer and i just tried it and yes there seems a bug here … maybe this post should be in bug & issues. lets wait the moderators
Just simple explaination …
having smart folder … it creating a view under the smart folder … then deleting that view or the smart folder makes the view remain exist in the " existing view " which indicate that the file is not deleted or live somewhere…
it seems the bug related to smart folder not only for users database…
So maybe that’s a bug!
In addition, the question remains: where do these “existing views” originate? Is it for any view that is created inside a Smart Folder? Because I had created several, and only some of them showed up as Existing Views. At the time, I was guessing that views with an apostrophe in their name were being excluded.
Any time you create an embedded a view in rich text of am entity, it will create a view under the hood, and link it there.
Any time you add a view to a smart folder, it does the same thing. Same mechanism.
Then you press on “Remove view from Smart folder”, or of you deleted the embedded view, you are just deleting the relation/link of the view but not the view itself. If you want to clean this up, you need to open each view, then in the top right click the three dots, and press delete view.
I hope this helps.
This is why I don’t really like creating embedded views or smart folder views personally, the “real location” of the view is a bit unclear. Where does it really live in the workspace? No idea.
