Why does automated email goes to spam?

When I create an automation to send an email to the contact who filled up the contact form. It always go to spam. Any idea why?

Unfortunately, we don’t control/influence the rules that an email provider uses to categorise spam, and AFAIK it’s not possible to request ‘whitelisting’.

I know that doesn’t actually answer why it happens, but each provider has their own set of logic/heuristics for identifying spam (which they don’t make public for obvious reasons) and as most people know, they tend to be too sensitive on some occasions and not sensitive enough at other times :person_shrugging:
