Whiteboard lines spawn behind sections

When I connect shapes with lines in sections in whiteboards then these lines end up behind the section, causing a whole lot of issues with accidental double lines, issues with text, and a lot more issues.

The whiteboard could be a great replacement for some of the lighter work I currently do in Miro, but these issues are holding it back.

Yeah, I have this problem all the time too. I wish lines always had a “z-index” higher than all the other canvas elements, and would also love “pin to back” and “pin to front” options for elements on the canvas to help minimize the need to micromanage layers.

I posted this two weeks ago and a dev mentioned they’re working on it, so hopefully this will be resolved soon!

Hi,

We still have this issue where lines on the whiteboard just disappear, and now several shapes move quite far from the mouse when you click & drag to move them.
With the current issues the whiteboard is basically useless, which is a shame as I really want to move from MIRO links to Fibery whiteboards if possible. Is there any eta when stability of existing features in the whiteboard will be prioritized?

Here is a screenshot that shows the jumping around.
I clicked on the shape, it moved all the way to the left bottom but the selection box still shows the original position. When I let go of the mouse the shape ends up where the visual is. The selection box is actually shown at the appropriate location.
