UX: Creating an entity where Name is a formula results in an entity with incomplete Name

Most of my databases have the Name field as a formula. So when I type in the name of a new entity like on the image, I get an entity with an incomplete Name. I suspect that’s because Fibery doesn’t know what the “default” input field it should use. It would be nice to have a possibility to define that.

Hi!

In fact what you described is implemented in most places, but this specific dropdown is too small, so it’s probably the only place where it’s not possible

@myg_ge I agree, this is a serious UX issue, since the user needs to type in the text to search before knowing if a new entity needs to be created, and then the input is silently discarded.

I just added a new workaround (for PRO plans) that partially addresses this, to my post that @RonMakesSystems had mentioned.
