URL Field not editable once populated (Clear Issue)

In the above example, in the desktop app, you can’t edit the URL if it is a compact field because if you click on it it opens the link in the browser.

You must drag the field down so that it is no longer a compact field, then you can edit it.

It actually is editable in the compact form, but the buffer where you can click to start editing is very small and it’s too easy to just click the link itself. So I agree that it should be easier to edit URL fields. This has been discussed elsewhere, with some mentioning adding an “edit” button next to the field.

Thanks for reply, So I have to be quick to click it to allow edit? Left click?

I think you have to click on the outer edges of the url box, but I haven’t done this many times personally.
