Typing a ".com" with hashtag inline breaks flow of text

I assume this is a bug, and not a feature request because I’m guessing this is not a desired behavior - here you go:

If I start to create something inline by typing the “#” and add a “.com” to it, the text I am typing is no longer linked to the “#” and I can no longer create an entity with the keyboard. Once I commit the “.com” the “#” disappears. This prevents you from creating inline entities that have any website name in the description.

Are you guys able to fix this? It has been an ongoing frustration since I started using Fibery and I finally got to the point that I wanted to request that it gets addressed.

Thanks!

I saw you guys edited this…could you respond to confirm that it’s a known issue? I can make a .gif if that would be useful. Thanks!

I couldn’t seem to reproduce it, so maybe a video would help (and let us know which browser/OS you’re using)

Ok here you go:

This is on Chrome on a Mac (MacOS Ventura). But same thing happens using safari as the browser. Would love to find out if there is a way around this as it really detracts from quick Entity creation inline, which is a massively useful feature!

Thanks for the video.

Ok glad you saw it. Any ideas about a fix for this?

@Chr1sG any response from you guys on this? Still an annoyance when working away on the keyboard I’d love to see you guys solve…I mentioned it over in Fibery UX/UI enhancements but no response there, either.

Thanks!
