Hello,
Is there a way to trigger an automation when there is a new inline comment on an entity, just like when adding a new comment? The entity does not have a Comments field but have rich texts that can be commented upon.

Unfortunately this is not possible. There is no trigger that observes changes in rich edit fields
Actually, we do now have triggers on changes to rich text fields
