Would be great if there was an easy way to call on whisper api from openai

Not to hijack this idea, but one of the reasons Iā€™d be excited about a Fibery <-> Obsidian sync plugin (independent, open source) is that Obsidian very often has functions like this available in free plugins, functions that IMO are outside the scope of core Fibery functions and therefore may be unlikely to be implemented. If we had Obsidian sync, you could use an Obsidian transcribe tool then just auto-sync it into Fibery and this ā€œfeatureā€ would essentially be immediately available to you with no work needed from the Fibery team.

This makes a lot of sense and might be possible already with similar implementations of Zapier or Make. Any transcribing software anyone uses that is friendly with Zaps?

Zapier appears to have OpenAI including Whisper, with a specific Whisper transcription call:

Thanks, thats a pretty direct Zap there, Ill play around with this!

I use Google Recorder for Pixel phones. It comes with text to speech transcript. Iā€™d love to integrate this somehow with meetings. Recordings land at recorder.google.com; would anyone know if/how itā€™s feasible to import these?

A great tool I use for this is macwhisper
