Right now, moving through timeline view using the arrows moves horizontally one screen at a time. Would be nice to be able to scroll through timeline smoothly

Are you a mouse user? afaik you should be able to use horizontal scrolling by “shift + mousewheel”
Also there is some hidden shortcut 
: holding ⌥ key activates “hand” tool like on whiteboards
I think we can add some UI to show/explain shortcuts.
I don’t have any votes left, but I agree with this entirely. I just want it to scroll “normally” like it does when looking at pretty much any calendar’s multi-day view (Google Calendar, for example) not take me to the next set of days that I may not care about.
