in the timeline view, if you enable fields to be shown, these fields are rendered ad the end of the timeline bar. If the end of the period exceeds the last day currently visible in the viewport, fields are not visible to the user.
This is a picture of two period bars:
The one on the left has the period ending on a day that is currently visible on the timeline and the fields are visible to the user. The one on the right has the period ending on a date in the future that is not visible on the current view so fields are not visible to the user.
I think that fields should follow the same behaviour of the Name field: if the date is currently not visible, fields should be rendered ad the end of the current viewport, like in this example:
