it would be great if TIFF (*.tif) could be inserted as images - doesn’t render currently - TIFF is standard image format in my line of work
Hi Phillip! As I told you over PM I made something. I can share it for free since I already made most of it - though I spent a few hours on it today again ![]()
What you see here is an embeddable TIFF viewer. You can put it in a Rich Text field, in a document, on a Dashboard or in an Embed view.
Below you see the Breakfast at TIFFanys Space where the data is located in the TIFFs database:
There is a URL field which is automatically generated when the entity is updated. There is a File field (now singular, but I can also make it with multiple TIFFs per entity), where the TIFFs can be uploaded. The Page above with Mona Lisa shows the TIFF of one of the entities. The image itself is converted to JPEG for now, and has a maximum resolution of 8000x8000px (so that’s big).
This one I do for free but if anyone needs help with something like this, let me know, I love to unlock new possibilities in the Fibery space with you and create beautiful and useful front-ends.
And Phillip, can you let me know more about what need in terms of functionality? Do you want to be able to zoom in and explore the images (I image that to be important for laboratory applications). And what else? Then I will adjust the code and share everything you need with instructions to make it work in your space in this thread.
