Hey! I’m working on a telegram integration as I’ve seen it’s been talked about here and there and am learning how to build custom integrations.
What are the main needs from a telegram integration?
Pull all messages from a chat?
Send messages (should this be via a bot or from your user?)
The tricky thing with telegram is that when adding a bot into a chat, it doesn’t have access to the messages in the chat before it was added. So if we want to sync all messages, you need to provide the access code, and this technically gives full access to your telegram. Would people be comfortable with this? Or do you perfer the Bot limitation as it feels more comfortable? The latter also allows me to send messages as you, and not as a bot.
What do you guys think?
