Hello everyone,
I’m currently exploring how to use APIs to centralize some of my data in Fibery, but I’m very new to working with APIs and would appreciate some general guidance from people who have experience with this.
My main goal is to automatically copy or sync data from my Wix CMS into Fibery. A lot of the information used on my website is stored in the Wix CMS, and I would like to pull that data into Fibery so I can manage it, analyze it, and possibly build reports around it. Ideally, this would be a one-way flow of data from Wix to Fibery through an API.
In addition to that, I would also like to pull data from social media platforms (for example follower counts, views, or similar metrics) into Fibery so I can track performance and build KPI dashboards.
Because I’m still learning how APIs and integrations work, I had a few general questions:
-
Is it possible to connect Wix CMS to Fibery through an API to transfer CMS data?
-
Does Fibery have built-in APIs or integration tools that could simplify this process?
-
What kind of data can realistically be transferred or synced through APIs in a setup like this?
-
Is it possible to do something like this without paid middleware tools, or are platforms like Zapier/Make typically required?
-
For pulling social media metrics (followers, views, etc.) into Fibery, is this something people commonly do with APIs?
If anyone has experience building similar setups, I would really appreciate advice on:
-
Where to start learning
-
What tools or platforms are commonly used
-
Any tutorials or documentation that could help a beginner get started
Any guidance would help me a lot. Thank you in advance!
