It sounds like the whiteboard comments feature is done so I’m guessing this won’t be a priority anytime soon. But long term I think this feature would enhance the whiteboard comments feature and make it feel a little more polished.
Idea: When commenting on whiteboard, be able to drag the comment around the selected area that is relevant to the comment. When not selected, the comment would look like it currently does. But when selected, the screen would zoom to the area in question and you would see a faint dotted line showing the border of the comment area.
- This gives full context to the comment, showing which parts of the whiteboard are being commented on
- This ensures the comment thread doesn’t cover the parts of the whiteboard that are supposed to be reviewed for the reply
The above two points would enhance how quickly you can click through the comments pane, instantly understand the context, and reply. Below is a quick video that shows the current issue.
