our concern is that we want to manage multiple wiki self-related DB within a space. but those wiki are two different projects/topic. If we publish the wiki, we limited in publishing the entire space.
Request that we can publish at least the contents within the Smart Folder instead. So, like in a end-to-end product management for a project, we can manage wikis for devs, post-project, and pre-product seperately but still within the same Space.
Are you saying that you have multiple smart folders in a space and you want to publicly share one of them but not the other?
Yes that is correct. We tried the wiki template of fibery and to see the wiki (and its smart folders), you need to publish the entire space. In our case, we need only to publish the contents of the specific smart folder.
In the example of the.fibery.io, let say we only need to publish the “view” smart folder and “document” smart folder and its contents. How can we do that? which we cant. So, we think that we can at least share on a smart folder level aside from the space-level.
I think your best solution is to move the database/smart folder that should be public to a different space, publish that space, and keep the original space unpublished
yes that is a workaround but it is not practical/scalable for us in the long term since we will be flooded with like ALOT ALOT of spaces just for those and will be difficult for us in the long term to maintain scatted spaces. We hope this request is something that can accommodated in the future. specially for some of our offerings are for software services, we have like 30 projects, and it is not practical to create MULTIPLE SPACES for like 1 project. and multiple that for the entire 30. It would be a nightmare for us to maintain it.
Could it not be just two spaces? One space for unpublished wikis, and the other space for published wikis?
Are you sure that public sharing is what you need.
It sounds like maybe you should be considering using access control to allow you to share projects with relevant stakeholders. In other words, why not invite people in as Guests, where they can only see the stuff they need to see?
