Not sure how to name this amazing bug? properly. I opened 2 browser windows with 2 different records of the same db. When I switch between pinned filters in either one of them, exactly the same switching happens in the other browser window. Is this a bug of a feature?
Correctly speaking, those aren’t pinned filters but alternative relation views, and it is expected behaviour that choosing a view in one window causes that view to also be selected in other windows.
Hmm. Sounds weird. What was the logic behind this?
For performance reasons, it’s easier to store the preferred relation view once (for all entities in the same db, irrespective of what window you’re opening).
Otherwise, we’d need to store each user’s preference per entity and per browser window.
Not a solution though for me. Sounds like a cost efficient trade off. Ok, got it.
