Nothing loads on the browser app

The desktop app works like a dream, but the browser app refuses to load almost anything. Or, I can’t find my databases.

The loading issue:

My region is in southeast asia, and I want to use Fibery to better track my progress. The destop app has been great, but when I need to use the browser app and it simply won’t respond.

I keep getting disconnected, and when I add data to an entity or document (especially rich text), the data disappears soon as I refresh or go to a different database.

The Database issue:

If I’m able to open a doc, and embed a database in it, for some reason it can’t seem to find the new databases I’ve made. Just the sample ones that Fibery provided.

I’m not sure what’s causing this. Maybe it’s because I’m in my region? I understand you guys are a small team in Europe and so I wondered if the servers struggle with my location.

But I would really appreciate some help in this regard.

Desktop app is almost identical to Browser app, so there should be no difference. Maybe some browser plugins affect it. And what browser do you use?

For context, I have the following devices:

  • My personal Windows devices (a PC and a Surface tablet).
    • I use Firefox, and the app, in both of these to access Fibery.
  • My office-issued MacBook Pro.
    • I can only use Chrome that the company provided.

When I tried out Fibery last week on Firefox and Chrome, the documents and anything rich-text really didn’t want to work. I’d disconnect from Fibery, try to refresh, and nothing would be saved.

But then, I think on July 15, Fibery on Firefox was finally working smoothly on my PC and tablet. But Chrome on my company’s Mac is still struggling.

But some updates on the Mac-Chrome setup:

  • I can view my Fibery (widgets, reports, data, etc.)
  • I can input data into the database
  • Still can’t seem to edit anything involving rich-text (like documents)
