- Column order: 1-5
- Row order: a-e

Gallery views are incredible for public facing databases, content management, and generally for more visual navigation. I hope to hear this is on the roadmap soon.
+1
this was very useful in notion as well as in productboard like Zack mentioned above, to wow the stakeholders with upcoming/in development features.
To me it feels like Fibery is 95% of the way there - you could create a new view type based on boards, remove the columns option, and align elements horizontally instead of vertically as they are today.
It sounds like quick win though I’m probably missing some context
I would like to spend all my votes here!
@Yuri_BC already said everything I wanted to say.
I have to wonder what the user story for this looks like in their end. I remember discussing this missing feature back in 2020 and there’s never been a timeline for it.
We’ll never know if it’s a quick win unless we’re looking at the code base but I’d consider this and other media handling improvements huge quality of life improvements. It’s impossible to be a solution for every team/ area of the business without having easy usability for visual heavy processes. Most database tools in the space have a gallery view for this reason.
There is hope, one of our developers works on it in spare time
This is something that would really helpful and would make Fibery more delightful. We use here for documenting internal company stuff. Such as. Team Members page, Tools that we use and also public site like Press links / Documents.
Here are a few use cases we currently have on Notion but we wanted in Fibery.
BTW, you can try this secret experiment using ?gallery-mode
URL modifier for Board View:
I tested it. It’s working as expected.
Different heights for cards is not a big issue imo and could be lived with while the feature is in beta. It could also use placeholders for when the image is missing, like we get in whiteboards (pictured below)
It would be great if you could add it, under a new type of view, as an experimental feature

Noco - Gallery View
Baserow - Gallery View
I think this view would add much more power and flexibility to users. Including me who already used those a lot in Notion before.
@mdubakov
I’m not sure how we’re supposed to actually use the url param in practice.
People navigate in Fibery using the sidebar or views / entities.
If they get to that page it won’t have the URL param.
I tried to embed that in another page using an iframe but I see those are not supported.
So I don’t see how this could actually be used in practice.
I was thinking of making a welcome page for the team as we’re about to do the official Atlassian to Fibery migration in a few weeks. A welcome page with an embedded gallery would make that page feel more welcoming but since that is not easily available, I ended up faking it with columns instead.
Any updates on this one?
It feels like it would be a nice quick win.
this would be very very useful.
Unfortunately it is not so easy. We do have plans for Q2
