Hi everyone,
I’d like to propose a usability improvement that would significantly enhance workflow in Fibery.
When you open a record in full-page view, there is currently no quick way to navigate to the next or previous record within the same view without going back to the list.
As far as I can see, this feature is not currently available in Fibery.
It would be extremely useful to have two buttons:
-
Previous
-
Next
Placed at the top of the record page, allowing users to move through records based on the current view’s filters and sorting.
Concrete use case
Example:
-
I open a filtered view (e.g., Sessions of Client X)
-
I enter the first record
-
I want to review all records sequentially
Currently I must:
-
go back to the view
-
open the next record
-
repeat
With Next / Back buttons, navigation would be continuous and much more efficient, similar to Notion or other structured tools.
Expected behavior
-
Buttons respect filters and sorting of the originating view
-
Available only when the record is opened from a view (not direct link)
-
Disabled if the record is first or last in the list
This would significantly improve:
-
sequential review
-
data auditing
-
editorial workflows
-
quality control
-
session/content/task analysis
It would be a major operational efficiency upgrade.
Curious to hear your thoughts.
