I would not. I take no joy in creating a button, manually mapping formulas, and managing the lifecycle of said button in sea of other buttons for a predictable user journey.
Conversion needs improvement, sure.
I think the import ui should be used for the conversion process so we can do mapping using select fields.
Maybe a toggle for whether to delete original entities (i don’t think we’d need to compare the original if it was a more trustworthy conversation)
The alternative, increasing friction without a benefit, is bad ux/product management.
