Okay fair enough. Indeed can get risky. The main use case I see is any time someone who is not workspace admin wants to add people into the workspace. Inviting people is less risky than configuring the workspace, you might just want to let people invite others, but not configure the whole workspace. Different departments might want to add people without always asking the admin to do so.

Personal use case would be for community projects. Each project is independent and it would be nice if they could add users into their project. Almost multi-tenant in a way.

Having β€œSubmitter” access control on the User Database would solve the same thing i think.

We will democratize user management beyond Admins in the coming months.
