Issue: List View is too random and restrictive with "Show All"

There doesn’t appear to be a way to se the rules of what gets filtered out when Fibery decides there are too many entities to render and the view all option appears.
This has become a thorn in my side for the past week. I somewhat understand the calendar view doing this but list views? This view of tasks for a user shows tasks grouped by status and it initially only showed done tasks.
I’d hope that list views, like table views, don’t automatically filter records.

Potentially related: Vertical Resizing of Relation Blocks

I wish the list view per-database entity limit was at least 30.

Are there any plans to improve this behavior? Is this truly a bug?

As a new user, I’ve also found the “Show all” feature confusing. At first, I thought I had added tasks incorrectly because they weren’t appearing, only to realize this button was hidden in the bottom-right corner. My first thought was okay, this is like Notion, where it defaults to showing 25 records, but I can adjust to 50 or 100. However, I am not seeing any option to change this. I prefer defaulting to show all, rather than having to click to see all my tasks every time.

I thought I saw someone share a workaround solution to this in another topic a little while back, but can’t seem to find the post now. :frowning:

It’s so easy to completely miss the little “Show All” button and ether assume there’s something wrong with your filters, or just be completely oblivious that there’s important items that aren’t being shown.

Agreed. I’m sure it’s helpful for performance reasons, but certainly not for user experience.

In latest release we moved Show All to the left and it is more noticeable now
